I'll be honest... it's been a very stressful week.
It's gotten better every day, but nonetheless... it's been a very stressful week.
And then it was today (which seems like it took two months to get here just as equally as it flew by...).
I was realizing that I had NOTHING sorted for today's post, which I knew I wanted to call "Purple". The problem was, I had NOTHING purple to add to my "Purple" post!
I decided to try to capture a few images including purple on my drive home from dropping the girls at the bus stop. We had just a had an early morning spring shower....
neighbour's letterbox
"shepherd's something" - a pretty weed that's everywhere right now (unfortunately, it does give some a terribly itchy rash - so photos are preferred to picking)
Tibouchina flower
"Possum", our pony
A foxglove from the garden in Billy's hands
And then, I thought.... How did I not SEE this ALL WEEK? How could I possibly feel ANY stress when I am surrounded by such beauty?!
But, I did.
I was.
And now...
I am feeling so much better. What a gift to take a few moments to SEE...
How healing and nourishing to force myself to STOP and LOOK
This let's me BREATHE......
And then, I arrived to this...
my lovely fella handed me a steaming hot perfect cuppa... I am so lucky.
I wish for you.. one long deep breath today - we are surrounded by so much love... soak it in...
