So much to say...

AWAYAWHILE turned into AWAYALONGERTHANITHOUGHTWHILE - 

While our stay in Sydney was as planned (in spite of my coffee moment where I decided we should live there), my stay away from here kept stretching on day after day after day.

We arrived home the night before the new school year began. I know we didn't earn any parent of the year awards for this, but you gotta holiday when you can, no?

Then, it was settling into the new rhythm of SCHOOL (gulp).

Then, a very very gradual (for me too) immersion to (bigger gulp) Preschool for our youngest fella! Yikes.

This makes me a woman who has THREE free days per week now!

THREE CHILD FREE DAYS!!

While this may take some great getting used to.... so far so good.

Our house is clean for the first time in years AND my husband and I went out on a DATE (realizing  while we were out on said DATE that we could actually do this regularly now - this was met with great enthusiasm by both of us).

I thought transitioning from homeschooling to schooling was big last year! 

Sudden thunderstorm - finish later...
